So I didn't tell my sister nor my brother in law that I was coming up to England Monday morning to see them. When I got near the house, it was about 10:30 in the morning. My original plan was to leave a trail of food outside the door leading to the side of the house where I'd be waiting with a big grin on my face. It was pretty lame, but it was the best I could think of for my situation.
But unbeknownst to me, that morning, my brother in law accidently saw a text sent between two of my cousins saying something along the lines of “Don’t forget, Bhaven’s coming today!” He had to read it several times to believe it, but after that, he was kind of keeping an eye out for me. He even tried to look up what flight I might be coming on, but, inadvertently, I foiled his plan by having a connection in Boston.
Anyways, as I walk up to the house, I see the windows are open and knew I could be really exposed to them seeing me, so I hurried up the driveway to the side of the house and hoped no one did. Then I hear a whispered “Hey!” and look up to find my brother in law signalling me from a window upstairs. I thought it was over, but he opened the door for me and told me my sister still didn’t know and was on the phone.
The stage was set. The chips fell exactly as I had wanted them. I hated the trail of food plan, but now everything was ready for me to enact the plan I REALLY wanted to do. I immediately took action and ran up the stairs into their only bathroom. I turned around, pulled down my pants, opened a newspaper, and left the door ever so enticingly open. And then I waited. Maybe around 10 minutes past as I heard my brother in law insist she go to the bathroom so they could “leave for lunch.” And finally she did. And there was a screaming.
The End

Flavors dot ME
I created a personal web profile for myself as a kind of web business card. Right now there isn't much, but it's tied to all my social networking things, like this blog. The above picture is the background art I used.

Salmubarek
This weekend is Diwali, the Indian New Years, so I tried to make a card design to send out to relatives to save money. This is the design I used for the front. I drew it in pencil before I scanned it. I came up with the design while doodling in class...
